São Paulo, novembro de 2011 – Considerado um dos maiores nomes da nova House Music brasileira, o DJ e produtor Filipe Guerra lança seu primeiro clipe com o hit Feel Alive. O single foi lançado no meio de 2011 e é uma parceria com a cantora Nalaya Brown, conhecida pelo hit “SuperMatxé”, tema das festas mais conhecidas de Ibiza e Madrid e que se apresentou nessa edição 2011 do Rock’n Rio.

O videoclipe foi produzido pelo Maurício Eça, um dos maiores diretores do país, e pelo Tony Tiger, que já produziram clipes de grandes bandas como Engenheiros do Hawaii, Frejat e Pitty.

O sucesso do hit foi tanto, que foi remixado por DJs internacionais como The Nycer, um dos maiores produtores da França e Albert Neve (Espanha), que já trabalhou com produtores de sucesso como David Guetta, Juanjo Martin Chuckie, e também pelos brasileiros Tannuri e Tommy Love. O pack já está disponível para downloads no djTunes.

No último fim de semana, Filipe esteve em uma tour, em Santiago, Chile, promovendo o single na Jugueteria, festa da Parada Gay da cidade. Ele é o primeiro DJ brasileiro de house music a se apresentar no país.

Born in 1983, in Sao Paulo, Marco aka element, began his journey into electronic music in 1996 through the sound of Chemical Brothers, Beastie Boys, Patife, Marky, Anderson Noise, among others that rocked the night clubs in Sao Paulo. Following the line that was being played at that time, he threw himself deep into the Techno wave, which not only took over the city but also was extremely expanded bringing out many artists that were recognized earlier as mere supporting players in that scene.

Five years passed and finally his senses were taken by the surrounding atmosphere of the progressive beat of Psychedelic Trance. The style born in the late 60’s on the paradise island of Goa, in a few years arrived in Brazil, was no longer a novelty and timidly invaded the small parties, making the great visionaries envision it as the great promise of the decade. And it really was like that.

Today, 14 years after his first experience, passionate, critic and studious, Marco remember your inputs and prepares his sets with carefully selected elements under the influences of great names of the electronic music around the world.

Five years passed and finally his senses were taken by the surrounding atmosphere of the progressive beat of Psychedelic Trance. The style born in the late 60’s on the paradise island of Goa, in a few years arrived in Brazil, was no longer a novelty and timidly invaded the small parties, making the great visionaries envision it as the great promise of the decade. And it really was like that.

Today, 14 years after his first experience, passionate, critic and studious, Marco remember your inputs and prepares his sets with carefully selected elements under the influences of great names of the electronic music around the world.

Nascido em 1983 na cidade de São Paulo, Marco aka element, iniciou sua jornada pela e-music em 1996 através do som de Chemical Brothers, Beastie Boys, Patife, Marky, Anderson Noise, dentre outros que embalavam a noite paulistana. Seguindo a linha da época mergulhou de vez na onda Techno que não só tomava conta da cidade como se expandia assustadoramente trazendo a tona vários artistas que antes eram meros coadjuvantes.
5 anos se passaram e enfim, seus sentidos foram tomados pela atmosfera envolvente da batida progressiva do Psychedelic Trance. O estilo nascido no fim dos anos 60 na ilha paradisíaca de GOA, a poucos anos chegava no Brasil, deixava de ser novidade, invadia timidamente as pequenas festas e os grandes visionários já vislumbravam como a grande promessa da década, e assim foi.
Hoje, 14 anos após sua primeira experiência, apaixonado, crítico e estudioso, Marco incorpora suas raízes e elabora seus sets com elementos minuciosamente selecionados sob influências de grandes da e-music mundial.

About Debbie Rose:

Debbie was fascinated by the underground music scene from an early age, at just 14 she bought her first pair of decks and collected records in genres ranging from Drum & Bass, Trance, Garage and early 90s Classic House.

After studying Music Technology and then onto Music Management, Debbie soon setup a successful club night in Manchester called Blend which hosted nights at Music Factory, Paradise Factory and Ascension bringing in talent such as Mr C, Terry Francis, Future Funk Squad, Meat Katie, Tyler Stadius and Jay Tripwire. With that kind of clout its no surprise that relocating back to London and jumping back behind the decks has lead to her being chased by some of London’s most prolific promotions.

Debbie also produces tracks under the name of Digital Division with the likes of Andy Tau, who’s tunes have featured in the world famous Radio 1 Essential Mix and are currently receiving support from the likes of Judge Jules and Pete Tong among many others.

Looking at Herbert Pryne’s releases so far and the year he was born in (1971), one could come to the conclusion he’s a late bloomer. So wrong! Herbert has been standing behind the decks since 1993 and found his love for electronic music by encounters with the classic Techno and Detroit sound of the early 1990ies. Although his focus still remains on those styles until this day, he has acquired a profound knowledge of any other electronic genre and subgenre throughout the years. “I really can’t stand listening to the same beat all night” Herbert says. And listening to the sets he has been publishing to Soundcloud or as a regular guest of the renowned UK-based RK2 podcast, it’s exactly this diversity you will discover.

Herbert ignites an ecclectic fireworks crossing all styles while never losing the thread. He injects Techno, Minimal, Electro and Acid into his DJ sets as well as House tracks.

The Stuttgart-based perfectionist is to be considered a director rather than a mere disc juggler by applying a sophisticated dramaturgy to his gigs, often spreading the tension over several hours. In case he is not satisfied with the sound of the tracks he is about to play, he will master them himself before going out to a gig while refusing to play MP3 files. Therefore, “quality” has to be the term that’s describing Herbert Pryne’s approach the best way. He is not playing out to polish his ego or to
celebrate himself - he is rather taking the audience on trip, constantly reading the crowd in order to make every public appearance a very special night for clubbers. Since the mid 1990ies, Herbert has been producing music as well but he simply wasn’t satisfied with the outcome. This explains well why you will only find one single (on the back then highly acclaimed Søk imprint) and one remix contribution
to a release on Gastspiel. Herbert has constantly been improving his productions both in technical as well as in musical terms in order to take it to the highest level possible. Thus it was just a matter of time that others would become aware of his creative output.

After years without any release, he was contacted by none less than the legendary 1980ies icon Anne Clark who took note of Herbert’s podcast appearances. Soon, aremix coop was established, resulting in an updated version of Anne’s classic “Full Moon”. After the two had met in Frankfurt’s renowned Cocoon Club where Anne Clark performed one gig of her Europe tour in early summer 2010, it was apparent that more projects such as remix and production jobs, but also support gigs for Anne would follow. Keep an eye/ear on this guy - there’s a lot more to come!
